Branding Association of Malaysia Sets ASEAN Records with Malaysia’s First and Largest Business Association-Led Flash Mob Featuring Cultural Heritage Attire

In a spectacular celebration of culture, unity, and innovation, the Branding Association of Malaysia has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, earning recognition under ASEAN Records for hosting Malaysia’s First and Largest Business Association-Led Flash Mob Featuring Cultural Heritage Attire at a UNESCO Heritage Site.

The event brought together 128 participants at the historic Christ Church Melaka, popularly known as the “Red Church,” blending Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage with modern-day collaboration. The vibrant flash mob was held to commemorate World Tourism Day 2025, endorsed by YB Leng Chau Yen, and featured business professionals adorned in Malaysia’s iconic cultural attire—from Baju Melayu to Nyonya Kebaya, Saree, Cheongsam, and more.

A Celebration of Culture and Unity

To the lively tune of “Rasa Sayang”, Malaysia’s beloved folk song, participants performed a spirited dance that showcased the nation’s diversity and cultural pride. This iconic moment symbolized the connection between Malaysia’s deep-rooted traditions and the innovation of its modern business community.

“This achievement reflects our dedication to preserving Malaysia’s cultural heritage while fostering collaboration among professionals,” said Datin Winnie Loo, President of the Branding Association of Malaysia. “By blending culture and business in such a creative way, we’ve set an inspiring example of unity and pride for future generations.”

The flash mob drew participants from various sectors, including prominent figures such as Datin Winnie Loo herself and YB Leng Chau Yen, creating a bridge between Malaysia’s cultural richness and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives its economy.

The event was officially verified by ASEAN Records, with 128 participants confirmed through manual counting, photographic, and video evidence, ensuring transparency and credibility.
