123 Live Mall Malaysia Recognised by ASEAN Records for Two Milestones in Own-Developed Product Ecosystem

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise 123 Live Mall Malaysia Sdn Bhd for achieving two milestones that reflect the scale of its own-developed and own-designed product ecosystem across health nutrition, beauty wellness, Feng Shui and energy products.

The two official record titles are:

First and Largest Own Developed and Own-Designed Product Ecosystem Across Health Nutrition, Beauty Wellness, Feng Shui, and Energy Products by a Live Commerce Platform (636 SKUs across 18 product categories, as of August 2026)

and

First and Most Own-Developed and Own-Designed Feng Shui and Energy Products by a Live Commerce Platform (533 SKUs across 15 product categories, as of August 2026)

As of August 2026, 123 Live Mall had developed and designed 636 stock keeping units (SKUs) across 18 product categories, including a specialised portfolio of 533 Feng Shui and energy products across 15 categories.

The two recognitions mark an important stage in the company’s progression from live commerce into a broader business ecosystem connecting consumer insight, product development, design, branding and retail.

From Live Commerce to Product Development

123 Live Mall began its development in 2018, initially building its presence through live-streaming commerce before expanding into e-commerce, physical operations, product development and brand management.

Live commerce has given the company a direct channel to understand consumer preferences and market response. These insights have subsequently contributed to its approach to product planning, design and brand development.

Rather than operating solely as a platform for selling third-party products, 123 Live Mall has progressively built its own portfolio across health nutrition, beauty wellness, Feng Shui and energy-related categories.

By August 2026, this portfolio had reached 636 own-developed and own-designed SKUs across 18 categories, forming the basis of its first ASEAN Records recognition.

533 Feng Shui and Energy Products Across 15 Categories

The second recognition highlights the depth of 123 Live Mall’s specialised Feng Shui and energy product portfolio.

As of August 2026, the segment comprised 533 own-developed and own-designed SKUs across 15 categories.

Feng Shui, crystal minerals and related lifestyle products have formed an important part of the company’s development, while its wider portfolio has subsequently expanded into additional consumer categories.

Together, the two records recognise different dimensions of the business: the breadth of the company’s 636-SKU product ecosystem and the scale of its specialised 533-SKU Feng Shui and energy portfolio.

Building an Integrated Brand Ecosystem

Over the years, 123 Live Mall has expanded its activities beyond live streaming to support a wider multi-channel business model.

Headquartered in Melaka, the company has developed capabilities spanning product development, branding, e-commerce, live content, warehousing and retail operations.

The company has also developed its own brands across different consumer categories while extending its business presence beyond Malaysia.

This integrated approach allows 123 Live Mall to connect feedback gathered from consumers with decisions involving product concepts, design, positioning and sales strategy.

For the company, the recognitions therefore reflect not only the number of products developed, but also the broader capabilities built around bringing those products from concept to market.

A Milestone Moment of Recognition

The ASEAN Records certificates for both achievements were officially presented on 29 August 2026.

The recognitions were received by Gan Kai Yee, Founder, CEO & Director of 123 Live Mall Malaysia Sdn Bhd; Vivi Toh, Co-Founder & Director of 123 Live Mall Malaysia Sdn Bhd; and Li Jia Heng, Co-Founder, Director, and Director of Operations of 123 Live Mall.

The presentation recognised the company’s achievement in developing 636 SKUs across 18 product categories, together with its specialised portfolio of 533 own-developed and own-designed Feng Shui and energy products across 15 categories.

The dual recognition marks an important milestone in 123 Live Mall’s continued development as both a live commerce platform and a creator of its own products and brands.

Voices of Leadership

Reflecting on the two recognitions, Gan Kai Yee, Founder, CEO & Director of 123 Live Mall Malaysia Sdn Bhd, shared:

“These recognitions are an important milestone for 123 Live Mall. The 636 own-developed and own-designed products, including 533 Feng Shui and energy products, are more than numbers. They represent years of effort in product development, design, quality management and brand building.

“From the beginning, our goal in live commerce has not simply been to sell products. We wanted to understand what consumers need and use those insights to guide product development, design and branding. This has helped us build a model that connects market understanding, product creation, brand development and sales.

“We see these recognitions as a new starting point. We want to continue strengthening our products and brands while expanding into ASEAN and wider Asian markets. At the same time, we hope to use our experience to support more Malaysian businesses in developing products and building brands that can reach international markets.”

Her remarks reflect 123 Live Mall’s intention to continue strengthening its own product portfolio while applying its experience in live commerce, product development and brand management to wider business opportunities.

Supporting Malaysian Brands Beyond Local Markets

Beyond developing its own brands, 123 Live Mall aims to support other Malaysian businesses in areas such as market analysis, product development, design, brand positioning, packaging, content marketing and sales promotion.

The company plans to build on the experience gained through its own business journey to help more Malaysian companies strengthen their products and prepare for overseas markets.

ASEAN is expected to be an important direction for future expansion, supported by cross-border e-commerce, live commerce, brand collaborations and strategic partnerships.

Over the longer term, the company aims to create a platform connecting businesses, brands, products and markets while contributing to greater international visibility for Malaysian-developed products.

O2Pay Technologies Inc. Recognised by ASEAN Records for Connecting Stablecoin Liquidity with Real-World Payment Networks

O2Pay Technologies Inc. Recognised by ASEAN Records for Connecting Stablecoin Liquidity with Real-World Payment Networks

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise O2Pay Technologies Inc. (O2Pay) for achieving a significant regional milestone as the:

First Consumer PayFi Infrastructure Connecting Stablecoin Liquidity with Real-World Payment Networks through a Registered Money Services Business
(107 supported fiat currencies; MSB Reg. No. 31000326321284; launched April 2026)

This achievement reflects O2Pay’s approach to connecting digital-asset liquidity with real-world payment infrastructure, creating a more accessible and efficient bridge between stablecoins and everyday financial transactions.

Bridging Stablecoin Liquidity with Real-World Payments

Launched in April 2026, O2Pay was developed as consumer PayFi infrastructure that connects stablecoin liquidity with established real-world payment networks through a registered Money Services Business.

Supporting 107 fiat currencies, the infrastructure is designed to make the movement between digital assets and traditional currencies more practical for users across different markets.

Rather than relying on a single payment route, O2Pay brings together a global network of ramp providers and dynamically selects suitable options according to factors such as availability, cost, and user context.

This approach enables O2Pay to connect multiple liquidity and payment pathways within one consumer-facing infrastructure while improving the efficiency and accessibility of transactions.

Building Infrastructure for Global Financial Connectivity

At the core of O2Pay is the objective of creating payment rails that make stablecoin liquidity more usable within real-world financial environments.

Its infrastructure combines digital liquidity, fiat currency access, and payment connectivity to help bridge the gap between blockchain-based assets and established payment systems.

With support for 107 fiat currencies and a network-based approach to ramp selection, O2Pay is building towards an infrastructure where users can access appropriate transaction routes based on their circumstances rather than navigating individual providers independently.

The achievement represents an important step in the development of consumer-focused PayFi infrastructure and demonstrates the potential for stablecoin technology to become increasingly connected with everyday payment networks.

A Milestone Moment of Acknowledgement

The ASEAN Records certificate was officially presented on 22 August 2026 at Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya, Thailand, marking the formal recognition of O2Pay’s achievement.

The recognition was received on stage by David Smith, Co-founder and CEO of O2Pay; Vincent Khoo, COO of O2Pay; and Andrew Leo, CMO of O2Pay, representing the leadership team behind the development and growth of the platform.

Voices of Leadership

Reflecting on the recognition, David Smith, Co-founder and CEO of O2Pay, shared:

“This achievement isn’t mine—it belongs to everyone who made it possible. From our team and partners to the liquidity providers and community who believed in what we are building, every contribution has helped bring these payment rails to life.

This recognition is an important milestone for O2Pay, but it is also just the beginning. We will continue building infrastructure that connects stablecoin liquidity with real-world payments and makes digital finance more accessible and practical for people everywhere.”

Johor Public Library Corporation Recognised by ASEAN Records for Government-Initiated International Book Bazaar Celebrating Books and Heritage

Johor Public Library Corporation Recognised by ASEAN Records for Government-Initiated International Book Bazaar Celebrating Books and Heritage

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise the Johor Public Library Corporation (Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Johor, PPAJ) for achieving the milestone:

First Government-Initiated International Book Bazaar by a State Statutory Library Corporation, Featuring Traditional Malay Timber-Carved Pavilions and Multi -Heritage-Attired Exhibitor Personnel (42 timber-carved main pavilions within 85 exhibitor units; 150 personnel in 3 distinct heritage attire; 21–25 August 2026)

The recognition acknowledges the Johor International Book Bazaar 2026 as a government-initiated international literary and cultural platform organised by a state statutory library corporation, combining books, public learning, heritage presentation and cultural identity within a single event.

Held from 21 to 25 August 2026 at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, the five-day bazaar featured 85 exhibitor units, including 42 main pavilions incorporating traditional Malay timber-carved design elements, together with 150 personnel comprising 50 secretariat members and 100 exhibitor personnel.

A defining element of the event was the presentation of personnel in three distinct forms of heritage attire, strengthening the bazaar’s cultural dimension while creating a setting where literature, community participation and Johor’s traditional identity could be experienced together.

Bringing Books, Heritage and Community Together

The Johor International Book Bazaar 2026 was designed as more than a conventional book fair.

Alongside its books and exhibitor showcases, the programme incorporated cultural and community activities including storytelling sessions, inspiring talks, heritage-related activities, traditional attire, family programmes and photography activities.

Through this combination, the event created a platform where visitors could engage with reading and knowledge while also experiencing elements of Johor’s cultural heritage.

The use of traditional Malay timber-carved pavilions formed an important visual and cultural feature of the bazaar, reflecting traditional craftsmanship and architectural identity within a contemporary public event environment.

By integrating literary activity with cultural presentation, the event contributes to a broader understanding of libraries as institutions that can support reading, knowledge, heritage appreciation and community connection.

42 Timber-Carved Main Pavilions Within 85 Exhibitor Units

A central feature of the ASEAN Records achievement was the event’s distinctive exhibition design.

The bazaar comprised a total of 85 exhibitor units, with 42 main pavilions incorporating traditional Malay timber-carved elements.

These pavilions were designed to reflect Johor’s traditional culture, craftsmanship and architectural character while serving as functional exhibition spaces for participating organisations and exhibitors.

The format created an environment in which the presentation of books and information was closely connected with local cultural identity.

The event layout also included dedicated areas for international exhibitors, programme activities, heritage elements, photography, radio, supporting booths and visitor engagement.

Together, these components created a literary event that combined exhibition, education and heritage presentation within one public venue.

150 Personnel in Three Distinct Heritage Attire

The cultural identity of the bazaar extended beyond the physical pavilion design.

A total of 150 personnel participated in the event, comprising 50 secretariat personnel and 100 exhibitor personnel.

Across the event, personnel were represented in three distinct forms of heritage attire, reinforcing the cultural character of the bazaar and creating greater public visibility for traditional dress.

This element complemented the traditional timber-carved pavilion concept and supported the wider objective of presenting Johor’s heritage through both the built environment and human participation.

The combination of traditional design, heritage attire and literary activities distinguished the bazaar as a platform where cultural expression and knowledge-sharing were presented side by side.

A Government-Initiated Literary and Cultural Platform

The Johor International Book Bazaar 2026 was organised by PPAJ following a decision by the Johor State Government dated 18 March 2026.

As a state statutory body responsible for public library services throughout Johor, PPAJ plays an important role in providing access to books, information, learning facilities, digital technology and literacy programmes for communities in both urban and rural areas.

The international book bazaar reflects this wider public-service role by extending access to reading and learning beyond conventional library spaces and into a large public setting.

Through the event, visitors were able to engage with books, exhibitors, cultural activities and educational programmes in an accessible environment designed for families, students, readers and the wider community.

Supporting Reading and Lifelong Learning

PPAJ’s responsibilities extend beyond managing library collections.

The organisation also promotes reading, lifelong learning, access to information and community development throughout Johor.

The Johor International Book Bazaar reflects these priorities by creating a platform that encourages public engagement with books while also providing opportunities for interaction with exhibitors, storytellers, speakers and cultural activities.

By locating the event at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru and operating from 10.00am to 10.00pm throughout its five-day run, the bazaar created an accessible public environment for visitors from different backgrounds to participate.

The combination of education, culture and family-oriented activities also supports the wider role of public libraries in encouraging reading habits and strengthening community participation.

Celebrating Johor’s Cultural Identity

The use of traditional Malay timber-carved pavilions and heritage attire provided a strong cultural foundation for the 2026 bazaar.

Rather than separating literary activity from heritage, the event brought both elements together within one public experience.

Traditional craftsmanship was incorporated into the exhibition environment, while heritage attire provided another visible connection to cultural identity.

The event’s public materials also encouraged visitors to experience Johor traditional attire while participating in the celebration, further connecting the bazaar with Malaysia’s National Month period.

Through this approach, the Johor International Book Bazaar positioned literature and cultural heritage as complementary elements that can strengthen public engagement with both knowledge and identity.

A Milestone Moment of Recognition

The ASEAN Records certificate was officially presented on 22 August 2026 at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru during the Johor International Book Bazaar 2026.

The recognition was received by YM Puan Ungku Noorakmal binti Ungku Sulaiman, Director of the Johor Public Library Corporation (PPAJ), together with her team.

The presentation was witnessed by several distinguished guests, including Yang Berhormat Dr. Mohammed Naqib bin Md. Ghazali, Chairman of the Johor State Education and Information Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Johor Public Library Corporation; YBhg. Encik Edy Irwan bin Zulkifli, Director-General of the National Library of Malaysia; YBrs. Encik Zulkurnain bin Abdul Rahman, Director of the Johor State Education Department; YBhg. Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong, President of Southern University College; and Ms. Clarissa Marie Villamor, Economic Desk Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Kuala Lumpur.

Also present were Directors of State Public Libraries from across Malaysia, alongside representatives, exhibitors, strategic partners and invited guests participating in the five-day international book bazaar.

The presentation acknowledged PPAJ’s role in organising a government-initiated international book bazaar incorporating 42 traditional Malay timber-carved main pavilions within 85 exhibitor units, together with 150 personnel in three distinct forms of heritage attire.

The recognition also reflects the collective contribution of the PPAJ team, participating exhibitors, secretariat personnel, strategic partners and supporting organisations involved in delivering the Johor International Book Bazaar 2026.

Voices of Leadership

Reflecting on the recognition and the purpose behind the Johor International Book Bazaar 2026, YM Puan Ungku Noorakmal binti Ungku Sulaiman, Director of the Johor Public Library Corporation (PPAJ), shared:

“The Johor International Book Bazaar is an important platform for us to bring books and knowledge closer to the community while creating an experience that also celebrates the cultural identity of Johor. We want people to see the library not only as a place to access books, but as an institution that brings communities together through learning, culture and meaningful engagement.

“By incorporating traditional Malay timber-carved pavilions, heritage attire and participation from a diverse group of exhibitors, we are able to connect reading and knowledge with the traditions that form part of our identity. At the same time, the international dimension of the bazaar creates opportunities for wider cultural and literary exchange.

“This recognition belongs to the entire PPAJ team, our exhibitors, strategic partners and everyone who contributed to making this programme possible. We hope the Johor International Book Bazaar will continue to encourage more people, especially young people and families, to develop a lasting relationship with books, knowledge and lifelong learning.”

The recognition reflects PPAJ’s wider commitment to empowering communities through knowledge, learning and cooperation with strategic partners, while demonstrating how public libraries can connect literacy, heritage and community participation through accessible public programmes.

Strengthening the Role of Public Libraries in Community and Culture

The ASEAN Records recognition reflects the evolving role of public libraries as institutions that support not only access to books and information, but also education, cultural appreciation, community participation and lifelong learning.

By organising an international book bazaar that combines literary engagement with heritage presentation, PPAJ demonstrates how public library institutions can create broader opportunities for communities to connect with knowledge in accessible and engaging ways.

The inclusion of international participation also extends the event’s role beyond a local book fair, creating opportunities for cultural and literary exchange while strengthening Johor’s visibility as a destination for public learning and cultural activity.

The Johor International Book Bazaar 2026 therefore represents an important milestone in PPAJ’s continuing efforts to make reading, learning and heritage more accessible to the public.

About Johor Public Library Corporation

The Johor Public Library Corporation, or Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Johor (PPAJ), was established under the Johor Public Library Corporation Enactment No. 5 of 1982.

Its services include access to books, information resources, learning facilities, digital technology and literacy programmes for communities in both urban and rural areas.

Farm Price Holdings Berhad Recognised by ASEAN Records for Pioneering Malaysia’s First Publicly Listed Fresh Vegetable Supply Chain Integrating Cold-Chain Logistics and Halal-Certified Value-Added Processing

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise Farm Price Holdings Berhad for achieving the milestone:

First Publicly-Listed Fresh-Vegetable Importer and Exporter Integrating Self-Operated Cold-Chain Storage and Halal-Certified Value-Added Processing (listed May 2024; Singapore ~40% of turnover; 149,548 sq ft built-up & 66,845 sq ft refrigerated on completion; 29,669 pallets/year; ISO 9001:2015, GMP & HACCP accredited; founded 2004)

This recognition celebrates Farm Price Holdings Berhad’s leadership in modernising the fresh produce supply chain through the integration of import and export operations, self-operated cold-chain logistics, and halal-certified value-added processing, setting a new benchmark for the fresh vegetable industry in Malaysia.

Advancing an Integrated Fresh Produce Supply Chain

Founded in 2004, Farm Price Holdings Berhad has grown from a fresh vegetable trading business into an integrated agricultural supply chain company serving wholesalers, retailers, food service operators, and export markets. In May 2024, the company achieved another significant milestone by becoming Malaysia’s first publicly listed company specialising in the import and export of fresh vegetables while integrating its own cold-chain infrastructure and halal-certified processing operations. The company’s listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia marked an important step in its long-term growth strategy.

Today, Farm Price sources fresh vegetables from both local farms and international suppliers before distributing them efficiently across domestic and overseas markets. Approximately 40% of its annual turnover is contributed by exports to Singapore, reflecting the company’s strong regional market presence.

Strengthening Food Quality Through Cold-Chain Infrastructure

A key strength of Farm Price lies in its investment in dedicated cold-chain logistics and storage facilities that help preserve freshness, minimise food waste, and maintain product quality throughout transportation and distribution.

Upon completion of its latest facility expansion, the company will operate a purpose-built integrated hub comprising approximately 149,548 square feet of built-up area, including 66,845 square feet of refrigerated cold-room facilities, with an annual handling capacity of approximately 29,669 pallets.

Beyond logistics, Farm Price also undertakes halal-certified value-added processing, including cleaning, cutting, sorting, and packaging fresh vegetables according to customer requirements. These operations are supported by internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certifications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to food safety, operational quality, and supply chain reliability.

Supporting Food Security and Regional Trade

As demand for fresh, safe, and traceable food continues to increase across the region, Farm Price plays an important role in strengthening agricultural supply chains between Malaysia and neighbouring markets.

Its integrated business model enables greater supply consistency, improved inventory management, and enhanced food quality throughout the distribution process while supporting both local agricultural producers and international trade partners.

By investing in infrastructure, quality assurance systems, and value-added processing capabilities, the company contributes to greater food security while improving the efficiency of fresh produce distribution throughout the ASEAN region.

Becoming Malaysia’s first publicly listed company in our sector while integrating cold-chain facilities and halal-certified value-added processing is an important milestone, but it is also a responsibility. We remain committed to strengthening regional food supply chains, supporting sustainable agricultural growth, and delivering safe, high-quality fresh produce to customers across Malaysia and beyond.”

Setting New Standards for Fresh Produce Distribution

This achievement reflects the growing importance of integrated supply chain management in ensuring food quality, safety, and distribution efficiency throughout the agricultural sector.

Megaklinik Dr Suffian (MKDS) Recognised by ASEAN Records for Achieving the Largest Annual Participation in a Single-Clinic, Internationally Certified, Doctor-Supervised Medical Weight Loss Programme

Four people in business attire pose with framed awards at an event, standing in front of a banner with a large portrait on the right.

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise Megaklinik Dr Suffian – MKDS (HQ) Sdn. Bhd. for achieving the milestone:

Largest Annual Participation in a Single-Clinic, Internationally Certified, Doctor-Supervised Medical Weight Loss Programme with Integrated Customised Intervention Protocol (2,630 Participants in 2025; 5 Certified Supervising Doctors; 3 Care Domains; 5 Customised Intervention Variables)

This recognition highlights MKDS’s leadership in advancing evidence-based medical weight management through structured, physician-supervised interventions that combine clinical care, lifestyle modification, and personalised treatment planning.

Advancing Medical Weight Management Through Structured Clinical Intervention

As obesity and lifestyle-related diseases continue to pose growing public health challenges across the region, the need for effective and medically supervised weight management programmes has become increasingly important.

Developed by Megaklinik Dr Suffian (MKDS), the programme adopts a comprehensive and personalised approach to weight management, integrating clinical assessment, behavioural modification, nutritional guidance, and ongoing medical supervision. Unlike conventional weight loss programmes that often rely on generic recommendations, MKDS utilises customised intervention protocols tailored to individual patient needs.

The programme is supervised by a team of five certified doctors and incorporates three core care domains, supported by five customised intervention variables, allowing treatment plans to be adapted according to each participant’s health profile, lifestyle factors, metabolic condition, and weight management goals.

In 2025 alone, the programme recorded participation from 2,630 individuals, establishing a significant benchmark for a single-clinic medical weight management programme within the region.

MKDS views obesity not merely as a weight-related concern, but as a chronic medical condition closely associated with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, joint disorders, fertility challenges, and reduced quality of life.

As such, the programme incorporates comprehensive medical supervision, metabolic risk assessment, body composition evaluation, muscle mass preservation strategies, lifestyle interventions, and personalised treatment planning to support sustainable health outcomes.

This clinical approach reflects the growing recognition that effective obesity management requires evidence-based medical care rather than short-term weight reduction solutions.

A Holistic Approach to Sustainable Health Outcomes

Founded by Dr. Suffian Sani Sayuti, MKDS has built its reputation on delivering evidence-based, lifestyle-centred healthcare solutions. The organisation’s philosophy extends beyond weight reduction, focusing on long-term health improvement through preventive medicine, metabolic health optimisation, and patient empowerment.

Through structured programmes that combine clinical intervention, behavioural coaching, nutritional support, and long-term monitoring, MKDS has helped thousands of individuals work towards sustainable weight management and improved overall wellbeing.

This integrated approach reflects the growing shift towards personalised healthcare, where treatment strategies are designed around individual patient needs rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.

Expanding Access to Personalised Healthcare

The recognition coincided with the grand opening of MKDS Putrajaya, the organisation’s flagship clinic located at IOI Resort City, Putrajaya.

Spanning approximately 914 square metres (3,000 square feet), the facility was designed as a blueprint for holistic, patient-centred healthcare, integrating preventive medicine, personalised treatment, health education, and clinical monitoring under one roof.

More than a conventional clinic, MKDS Putrajaya serves as a healthcare hub that connects clinical expertise, health monitoring technologies, and patient empowerment initiatives to support healthier communities.

In addition to its signature medically supervised weight management programmes, the clinic provides general medical consultations, chronic disease management services, health screening programmes, and corporate healthcare solutions.

The expansion reflects MKDS’s commitment to making evidence-based healthcare and medical weight management services more accessible to communities throughout Malaysia.

Building Clinical Excellence in Obesity Care

A key pillar of MKDS’s success is its investment in medical expertise and continuous professional development.

Beyond the five certified supervising doctors directly involved in the record-recognised programme, the organisation is supported by a broader network of doctors who undergo specialised training in obesity management, metabolic health, diabetes care, preventive medicine, and lifestyle-related disease intervention.

Through ongoing participation in professional education programmes, international conferences, and clinical training initiatives, MKDS continues to strengthen its capabilities in delivering evidence-based obesity care aligned with evolving global medical standards.

This commitment helps ensure that patients receive safe, structured, and medically guided treatment throughout their healthcare journey.

A Milestone Moment of Recognition

The ASEAN Records certificate was officially presented on 6 April 2026 during the grand opening ceremony of MKDS Putrajaya.

The recognition was proudly received by Dr. Suffian Sani Sayuti, Founder of Megaklinik Dr Suffian, together with Nuraishah Hanani Binti Abdul Ghani, Managing Director of Megaklinik Dr Suffian, in acknowledgement of their leadership in developing one of the region’s largest doctor-supervised medical weight management programmes.

The presentation was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Rural and Regional Development (Menteri Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah).

Voices of Leadership

Reflecting on the recognition, Dr. Suffian Sani Sayuti, Founder of MKDS, shared:

“This recognition represents more than a milestone for MKDS. It reflects the trust placed in us by thousands of individuals who have chosen to begin their health transformation journey with our team.

At MKDS, we believe obesity is not a cosmetic issue. It is a chronic medical condition that requires proper medical assessment, personalised intervention, and long-term support.

Our focus is not simply helping patients lose weight, but helping them achieve better metabolic health, prevent future complications, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based medical care.

We remain committed to advancing personalised healthcare solutions while strengthening awareness that preventive healthcare and early intervention are essential for building a healthier society.”

Setting New Standards for Preventive Healthcare in ASEAN

This ASEAN Records recognition reflects the growing importance of clinically supervised weight management programmes in addressing obesity, metabolic disorders, and lifestyle-related health conditions.

By combining medical expertise, personalised intervention protocols, and long-term patient support, MKDS has demonstrated how structured healthcare programmes can contribute meaningfully to preventive medicine and public health outcomes.

The achievement establishes a new benchmark for medical weight management services within ASEAN while reinforcing the role of innovation, clinical governance, and patient-centred care in modern healthcare delivery.

As demand for obesity management, diabetes prevention, and lifestyle-focused healthcare continues to increase, MKDS aims to further expand access to medically supervised health programmes throughout Malaysia.

The organisation is also exploring future regional and international expansion opportunities as part of its long-term vision of bringing Malaysian healthcare expertise to wider global audiences, with aspirations to establish an international presence in the coming years.
