Voices of Leadership
Reflecting on the recognition and the inspiration behind Andaman Seafood Village, Peter Tey, Managing Director of Andaman Group, shared:

“When we first started, there was no restaurant in Kuala Lumpur dedicated to ASEAN cuisine in a complete way. We saw an opportunity to create something different—a seafood restaurant with a resort-style concept right in the city centre, where people could experience the diversity of ASEAN flavours under one roof.
Kuala Lumpur welcomes tourists from all over the world, and we wanted to give them a place where they could explore ASEAN cuisine in a single dining experience. That idea became the foundation of Andaman Seafood Village.
The Andaman brand itself began with Andaman Seafood, and as the response in Bukit Bintang grew stronger, we were presented with the opportunity to develop a larger space at Menara EcoWorld. That led to the creation of a themed event hall capable of hosting up to 1,500 guests—something that had not been done before in Kuala Lumpur’s city centre. This journey reflects our belief that food, space, and experience should come together to create something meaningful.”
