Held as the 4th Global Culinary Challenge in Malaysia, the event brought together an extraordinary 689 chefs representing 31 countries, making it the most internationally diverse culinary competition ever hosted on Malaysian soil. This historic milestone not only underscores Malaysia’s growing influence in the global food and hospitality sector but also affirms GCCM’s dedication to culinary diplomacy and international collaboration.

Endorsed by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies, this global challenge is a testament to GCCM’s role in elevating industry standards, creating inclusive platforms for professional chefs, and nurturing an ecosystem that celebrates both talent and cultural diversity in the culinary arts.
The record presentation was witnessed by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, highlighting the event’s national importance and the government’s support toward expanding Malaysia’s presence on the international culinary map.
