ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise International Tourism, Arts and Cultures Exhibition & Conference (INTAC 2026), organised by WEX Malaysia Sdn Bhd, for achieving:
First International Tourism, Arts and Culture Exhibition and Conference Offering Licence-Renewal Education Points for Tourist Guides Alongside an Academic Research Conference
(6 MOTAC-approved CTRE points across 6 sessions, 1–3 October 2026, in collaboration with the 6th ICLET 2026; 2–4 October 2026)
This achievement highlights INTAC 2026’s distinctive integration of tourism industry engagement, professional development, and academic knowledge exchange within one international platform, creating new value for tourist guides, researchers, industry practitioners, and cultural stakeholders across the ASEAN region.

Connecting Industry Learning with Professional Recognition
A defining feature of INTAC 2026 was its ability to combine industry participation with structured professional development for tourist guides.
Across six sessions held from 1 to 3 October 2026, participants were able to earn a total of 6 MOTAC-approved CTRE points, contributing towards licence-renewal education requirements while engaging directly with tourism, arts, culture, heritage, and related industry content.

By embedding recognised continuing education within a broader exhibition and conference setting, INTAC 2026 created a practical bridge between professional accreditation, industry exposure, and knowledge sharing.

Bridging Tourism Practice with Academic Research
INTAC 2026 was also held in collaboration with the 6th ICLET 2026, taking place from 2 to 4 October 2026, bringing an academic research dimension into the wider tourism, arts, and culture programme.
This collaboration enabled practitioners, educators, researchers, and industry stakeholders to engage within the same ecosystem, encouraging dialogue between applied industry experience and academic perspectives.

The combination of licence-renewal education and a research conference distinguishes INTAC 2026 as a platform that supports both professional practice and knowledge development within the tourism and cultural sectors.
Building a Wider Tourism, Arts and Culture Ecosystem
Beyond its educational and academic components, INTAC 2026 serves as a platform for stakeholders across tourism, arts, culture, heritage, handicraft, and the creative industries to connect, showcase, and collaborate.

Participation is structured through multiple engagement pathways, including exhibition booths, hosted programmes, virtual conference participation, art showcases, cultural performances, handcrafted products, and independent creative expressions.

Following its inaugural edition in 2024, INTAC returned in 2026 with a continued focus on strengthening networking, collaboration, industry engagement, and knowledge exchange across the wider tourism and cultural ecosystem.
