This achievement reflects GoRental’s ability to deploy portable battery energy storage at scale across a multi-location festival, demonstrating a cleaner and quieter alternative to conventional temporary power infrastructure across the ASEAN region.
Powering Three Quays Across Ten Consecutive Days
GoRental’s deployment supported Singapore River Festival 2026, which brought activities and experiences across Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay from 11 to 20 September 2026.
Across the ten-day festival period, 62 portable battery units were deployed to support temporary power requirements throughout the river precinct.
Based on per-segment metered discharge, the deployment was modelled at approximately 1,600 kWh, demonstrating how portable Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) can be coordinated across multiple locations within a large-scale outdoor festival environment.
Replacing Conventional Temporary Power with Cleaner Energy
Incorporated in 2017, GoRental SG focuses on replacing conventional diesel-generator dependence with portable and mobile clean-energy battery solutions.
Rather than operating as a traditional equipment rental provider, GoRental positions itself as a green technology partner, combining portable battery hardware, energy management, and on-ground operational expertise to deliver dependable temporary power.

Through the Singapore River Festival 2026 deployment, GoRental demonstrated how BESS technology can support extended event operations across several locations while remaining adaptable to different power requirements.

The achievement highlights the increasing role of portable battery systems in supporting events, public activations, and temporary commercial environments.
By deploying 62 battery units across three quays for ten consecutive days, GoRental demonstrated how decentralised energy infrastructure can be coordinated across an active urban precinct.

The ASEAN Records certificate was officially presented on 11 September 2026 at CQ @ Clarke Quay Fountain Square, Singapore.
The recognition was received on stage by Colin Peh, Co-Founder of GoRental Global; Teo Ser Foong, Head of Growth of GB Helios; and Aston Chia, Marketing and Partnerships Manager of GoRental Global, representing the collaboration and operational expertise behind the record-setting deployment at Singapore River Festival 2026.
The presentation was witnessed by Guest-of-Honour Mr Foo Cexiang, Minister of State, Ministry of Manpower & Ministry of Trade and Industry.
