Located in Melaka, Birkin International Hotel is a new-generation five-star destination built with sustainability at its core. At the time of launch, the hotel implemented the highest number of ESG systems in ASEAN for a newly launched luxury hotel, spanning across five key pillars of Environmental, Social, and Governance impact.

The 12 initiatives officially recognised include:

• Food Bank Program (Bank Makanan Birkin) — a flagship CSR project to support underserved communities

A Milestone Event of Impact and Recognition

The official ASEAN Records certificate was proudly presented to Mr. Simon Tan, General Manager of Birkin International Hotel, during the Birkin Food Bank Launch Ceremony and Memorandum of Understanding signing, held on 30 October 2025 at the hotel’s Ballroom 2.

Graced by senior representatives from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), the event brought together government stakeholders, partners, media, and NGO collaborators — celebrating the hotel’s leadership in both sustainable hospitality and social responsibility.
