First Individual to Invent, Create and Publish a Proprietary Visual Mind-Mapping Smart Learning Methodology Spanning Kindergarten to Pre-University and Aligned to an Official National Curriculum

This recognition celebrates Datuk Dr. Ivan Hoe’s achievement in developing a proprietary visual mind-mapping smart learning methodology, designed to support students from kindergarten through pre-university by combining visual learning techniques with curriculum-aligned educational content.

Pioneering a Proprietary Visual Mind-Mapping Learning Methodology

Datuk Dr. Ivan Hoe developed a proprietary visual mind-mapping smart learning methodology that presents educational information through structured visual connections, diagrams and organised learning concepts.

The methodology is designed to support learners across multiple educational stages, from kindergarten to pre-university, providing an approach to understanding and organising academic information.

By aligning its learning materials with an official national curriculum, the methodology brings together visual learning techniques and structured academic content to support students throughout their educational journey.

Transforming Complex Information into Visual Learning

Traditional learning materials often present academic information through extensive written explanations, requiring students to identify and organise important concepts independently.

Through his visual mind-mapping approach, Datuk Dr. Ivan Hoe focuses on transforming complex subject content into structured visual representations, incorporating diagrams, colours, keywords and interconnected ideas.

This approach provides students with an alternative way to explore academic topics, identify relationships between concepts and organise information for learning and revision.

Advancing Educational Innovation Through PNI Neuron

As Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of PNI Neuron (M) Sdn Bhd, Datuk Dr. Ivan Hoe has played a central role in developing visual learning resources and curriculum-based educational publications.

Through PNI Neuron, his educational approach has been incorporated into visual mind maps, illustrated reference materials and structured learning resources designed for students at different educational levels.

The ASEAN Records recognition acknowledges his individual contribution to developing and publishing a proprietary learning methodology that combines educational innovation, visual organisation and curriculum alignment.
