Developing 48 Clan and Cultural Halls Within a Heritage City

Beginning in January 2022 and reaching its documented completion milestone in November 2025, Fairy Park Heritage City developed an independently established multi-surname ancestral hall street featuring 48 clan and cultural halls within a 166-acre site.

The development brings together ancestral halls representing different Chinese surnames, native clans and cultural associations, creating a dedicated space for ancestral remembrance and cultural preservation.

Through its distinctive architectural approach and collaboration with community associations, Fairy Park Heritage City combines traditional Chinese heritage elements with modern memorial facilities, establishing a cultural destination that connects generations.

Preserving Ancestral Heritage Through Architecture and Culture

Fairy Park Heritage City’s ancestral halls incorporate traditional Chinese architectural designs, reflecting the cultural identity and historical background of different surname and clan associations.

The halls provide spaces for ancestral remembrance, cultural exhibitions and community gatherings, allowing visitors to explore family histories, ancestral origins and customs passed down through generations.

By integrating cultural learning with memorial facilities, the development encourages younger generations to understand their heritage while supporting the continued preservation of traditional Chinese values and practices.

Creating a Cultural Space for Communities and Future Generations

Located in Setia Alam, Selangor, Fairy Park Heritage City was developed around the concept of bringing together family remembrance, cultural education and community interaction within a shared environment.

Beyond its ancestral halls, the development incorporates landscaped surroundings, recreational facilities and communal spaces designed to encourage family gatherings and cultural activities.

The ASEAN Records recognition acknowledges the scale of its ancestral hall development and its contribution to preserving Chinese cultural heritage while creating opportunities for communities to maintain their ancestral connections.
