ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise Puku Cafe, led by its Managing Director and Founder Foo Zhen Hong, for achieving an extraordinary milestone as the: Most Popsicle Ice Cream With Real Strawberry Fruits Sold Through Distribution by a Halal-Certified Manufacturer in One Year (273,664 sticks, August 2024 – September 2025)
This recognition celebrates Puku Cafe’s commitment to authentic ingredients, innovative production, and its mission to bring Cameron Highlands’ finest strawberry flavours to consumers across Malaysia.

A Trailblazer in Local Halal-Certified Ice Cream Excellence
Founded in 2015, Puku Cafe has grown into one of Cameron Highlands’ most beloved local brands, celebrated for its homemade ice creams made with strawberries harvested directly from its own farm.

As the original local Cameron Highlands HALAL-certified ice cream brand, Puku Cafe has built a reputation for quality, freshness, and consistency — making real-fruit popsicles a signature favourite among families, tourists, and distribution partners nationwide.
The record-breaking achievement reflects the brand’s dedication to innovation, its expansion across retail and distribution channels, and its relentless pursuit of delivering premium, farm-to-freezer strawberry ice cream to Malaysians.

A Career of Innovation and Growth

Under the leadership of Foo Zhen Hong, Puku Cafe has transformed from a small home-based maker into a recognised regional brand known for its authentic fruit-based ice creams.
The impressive sales of 273,664 strawberry popsicle sticks showcase the brand’s ability to scale while maintaining quality, flavour integrity, and Halal-compliant production standards.
This milestone further reinforces Puku Cafe’s standing as a leading force in Malaysia’s artisanal ice cream landscape.
