Established in 2006, NPG began with a team of just over 30 insurance agents and a vision to build a professional platform that could help individuals grow, succeed, and transform their lives.

Over the past two decades, the organisation has developed into one of Malaysia’s recognised life insurance agency groups, supported by a strong community of agents, leaders, and high-performing professionals.

In 2023, NPG recorded RM62,702,754.84 in Annualised First-Year Premium, representing its highest annual production since its establishment.

Annualised First-Year Premium, commonly known as AFYP, is a key industry measurement used to assess new life insurance business generated within a given period.

Achieving this level of production as a single tied agency reflects NPG’s organisational scale, sales discipline, customer reach, and ability to consistently develop productive insurance professionals.

The result was achieved through the collective efforts of its agents, agency leaders, operational teams, and longstanding strategic partnership with Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad.

Thirteen National NAMLIFA AKARD Champion Titles

Beyond its record-setting annual premium production, NPG accumulated 13 NAMLIFA AKARD Champion titles between 2011 and 2025.

NAMLIFA, the National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance and Family Takaful Advisors, is an independent national industry organisation representing professionals across different insurance companies.

Its AKARD Awards are widely regarded as among Malaysia’s recognised honours for life insurance and family takaful professionals. NPG’s champion titles were therefore achieved through nationwide, cross-company competition rather than through internal company recognition.

This distinction demonstrates the agency’s ability to sustain national-level performance and leadership over more than a decade.

Seventeen Consecutive Years of Championship Performance

The recognition also forms part of a wider legacy built under the leadership of Dato’ Sri Norman Pang, Founder and Chief Director of NPG Agency Sdn Bhd.

From 2009 to 2025, Dato’ Sri Norman Pang maintained championship-level performance for 17 consecutive years, reflecting a sustained commitment to professional discipline, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Throughout this period, his focus extended beyond personal performance. He continued to develop new MDRT members, agency leaders, and national champions, ensuring that growth was shared across the organisation.

NPG was also recognised with two major AKARD Champion honours:

The ASEAN Records certificate was officially presented on 12 July 2026 during NPG’s 20th Anniversary Awards Night, themed “United at 20, Rising Through Collective Strength,” at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The milestone celebration brought together more than 1,000 agency members, corporate partners, sponsors, industry representatives, distinguished guests, and friends from the entertainment community.

The recognition was proudly received by Dato’ Sri Norman Pang, Founder and Chief Director of NPG Agency Sdn Bhd, together with Danny Goh, Chief Executive Officer, in acknowledgement of their leadership in building NPG from a team of just over 30 agents into one of Malaysia’s recognised life insurance organisations.

Launching a New Lifestyle and Member-Rewards Ecosystem

In conjunction with its 20th anniversary, NPG also announced the launch of the NPG × RedPay Visa Card.

The partnership represents NPG’s expansion into a broader member-rewards and lifestyle ecosystem, creating additional value for its agency members and customers through everyday spending, rewards, and digital payment features.

This initiative reflects NPG’s intention to continue evolving beyond a conventional agency model by introducing platforms and partnerships that strengthen engagement with its wider community.

A Celebration of Partnership, Talent, and Community

The anniversary event included the recognition of MDRT achievers, Super MDRT recipients, Lifetime MDRT members, COT achievers, top producers, top recruiters, top rookies, agency leaders, and long-serving members.

Senior representatives from Allianz Malaysia Berhad, Allianz General Insurance Company Malaysia Berhad, and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad were also present, reflecting the longstanding strategic relationship between Allianz and NPG.

The celebration was further enlivened by performances from Malaysian artistes Gary Chaw, Nicole Lai, and Kenny Low, while Jack Lim and other friends from the entertainment and business communities attended to commemorate the milestone.
