The Snack Hut Recognised by ASEAN Records for the Highest Number of Cheese Coin Waffles with Multiple Toppings Sold in 60 Days by a Single Kiosk

ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognise The Snack Hut, led by its Managing Director and Founder Nur Farahiyah Binti Abd. Aziz, for achieving an exceptional culinary milestone as the: Highest Number of Cheese Coin Waffles with Multiple Toppings Sold in 60 Days by a Single Kiosk (16,112 pieces, 4 toppings, 1 August – 30 September 2025)

This recognition celebrates The Snack Hut’s creativity, product consistency, and its remarkable ability to transform a simple idea into a high-demand bestseller that captivated both locals and tourists within just two months.

A Rising Star in Malaysia’s Street Snack Scene

Since its inception, The Snack Hut has built a strong presence as a must-visit kiosk in Cameron Highlands. Loved for its soft, flavourful Cheese Coin Waffles, the brand has successfully combined rich cheese fillings with a variety of toppings that attract customers from all walks of life.

In sharing her journey, Founder Nur Farahiyah revealed that the inspiration began with a simple idea — which then led her to travel to Korea to study waffle techniques, flavours, and preparation methods. From there, she developed her own unique recipe, refining and localising it to suit Malaysian tastes while keeping the premium texture and flavour profile that make their Cheese Coin Waffles so popular today.

The achievement of 16,112 waffles sold in just 60 days highlights the brand’s innovation, efficiency, and strong customer loyalty.

A Moment of Celebration and Recognition

A special acknowledgement ceremony was held on 2 December 2025 in Cameron Highlands, celebrating this milestone achievement. The ceremony was graced by YB DUN Tanah Rata, Ho Chi Yang, who officiated the presentation of the ASEAN Records certificate.

The certificate was proudly received by Nur Farahiyah Binti Abd. Aziz, recognising her leadership, vision, and dedication in building one of Cameron Highlands’ most beloved snack brands.

Following the award presentation, the ceremony continued with a CSR contribution segment and concluded with a Hi-Tea reception at Tokyo Town Cameron Highlands, attended by guests, community members, and supporters.
