The recognition was presented during the 5th ASEAN Records Gather of Achievers at Tee Off Lounge, Bangi Golf Resort, and was witnessed by YB Tuan Syahredzan bin Johan, Member of Parliament for Bangi.

Since 2018, Bangi Resort Hotel has broken traditional barriers by being the first hotel in the ASEAN region to officially welcome durian consumption within its premises — an industry-defining move in a sector long governed by “no durian” policies.
