UNITING ASEAN THROUGH ASEAN RECORDS

Our Background

The Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) was founded in 1995 by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi. It is the first and only record-keeping institution in Malaysia that is recognized by the Malaysia Government. The MBR is a platform that aims to showcase Malaysia’s achievements and promote excellence in various fields, it recognizes a wide range of accomplishments and unique feats by individuals and organizations in Malaysia.

The ASEAN Records is a record-keeping institution similar to the Malaysia Book of Records, but with a focus on recognizing achievements and accomplishments across the ASEAN region to promote the spirit of competition, innovation, and creativity. The organization also recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities or the ASEAN region as a whole.

With the support of the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN BAC as the patrons of the ASEAN Records, this initiative will reache a wide audience and becomes a source of pride and inspiration for the entire ASEAN community.
